Spring is almost here. It’s time to dust off those gardening gloves and tools! This means that longer days, warmer days and pretty flowers will be greeting us. I am excited for the vitamin D to be shining down on my face. Waiting for spring can make you antsy to get those garden beds and your home looking fresh for the season. February is filled with items you can plant. It's the perfect month to plant bushes, trees, and roses. You can also sow radishes, peas, carrots, spinach, onions, and cabbage. You'll be munching on fresh veggies in no time and picking beautiful flowers for your kitchen table. I have put together some items for gardening, as well as some gardening tips, and a lovely Heirloom tomato soup with roasted red peppers straight from the garden!

I absolutely adore this charming little Victorian style bird house… so pretty and fun! Having a sanctuary for the birds brings so much joy. I love taking care of all the little animals and singing to them… I have since I was a child and still do. It is special to set up a home, bath, and feeders so the birds can feel at home. These scalloped terracotta pots are fantastic planters and really adds some beauty to compliment the flowers.

There is no better flavor than when you cook with fresh vegetables straight out of the garden. The reward is even greater knowing it was something you planted and grew yourself! Happy Gardening and here’s to a Happy Spring!
