Old-Fashioned Oatmeal Cookies

IMG_2972.jpg

Old Fashioned Oatmeal Cookies are my favorite cookie of all time! This classic cookie is full of flavor with a hint of cinnamon and nutmeg. There is something nostalgic about oatmeal cookies. I love sitting by a fire with some coffee or tea and my favorite “oat cakes” as the girls call them. My kids love to pack them in their lunches because it gives them an extra special treat to brighten their day. Follow this simple recipe or switch it up and add chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, or peanut butter-flavored chips for a different take on a classic.
