Happy Halloween! The kids are so ready to trick or treat and get all the goodies! These Mummy Cookies are a super fun activity to do with the kids leading up to Halloween. It is always fun to deliver some to the neighbors.

You can bake fresh chocolate chip cookies or sugar cookies, or you can use premade cookies if you are short on time.

I used this Betty Crocker Vanilla Buttercream Frosting recipe, and oh this is the best frosting in the world! I only made half the recipe and had some to spare. The girls helped lay out the cookies on the baking sheet to decorate and I spooned the frosting into a ziplock bag and cut the tip off the end, just enough for the width of the “mummy fabric”.

After the frosting was piped on, the girls added the Googly Eyes we got from the grocery store. They are edible. We also added some sprinkles to dress it up a bit. It is all about having fun with it.

What a fun way to get ready for Halloween with the kiddos. They had a blast and it definitely made their day special. They were excited when the neighbor kids came over for some homemade Halloween treats!
